Carol Ann Susi (Born in 1952) is an American actress, and plays the role of voicing Mrs. Wolowitz. She has only been portrayed as yelling from another room or off-camera and has yet to be seen.

It is also rumoured that Howard's mother will be revealed in the upcoming Season 6, and that the role has been given to Betty White. However, Carol Ann Susi has said that Chuck Lorre has decided to never show Mrs. Wolowitz onscreen.
