Dale appeared in "The Flaming Spittoon Acquisition", and was seen behind the register at the comic book store. He filled in when Stuart was out for coffee with Amy. He does not seem especially bright and is extremely dorky, which makes Leonard and Sheldon really uncomfortable. In "The Tangible Affection Proof" he shows up at Raj and Stuarts' singles only Valentine's Day party. He is glad he came because instead of being sad and alone on Valentine's Day, now he is just sad. He also thinks that Stuart is really cool.
