June Squibb (born June Louise Squibb on November 6, 1929) is an American actress. She has played supporting roles in various films such as Alice, Scent of a Woman, The Age of Innocence, In & Out, and Far from Heaven. She has also performed on television series such as Ghost Whisperer and on Broadway, including performing in the original production of Gypsy. She played the wife of Jack Nicholson in Alexander Payne's film About Schmidt, and the wife of Bruce Dern in Payne's Nebraska, for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
In February 2016 she made her debut on The Big Bang Theory, playing Sheldon's George Cooper Jr.'s and Missy Cooper's "Meemaw" and Mary Cooper's mother and Amy Farrah Fowler's mother-in-law.
