Edward Michael Trucco (born June 22, 1970) is an American actor.
In The Big Bang Theory, he plays the role of Dr. David Underhill, a MacArthur Genius Grant recipient and a love interest of Penny's in the episode "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis" who eventually proves to be married.
He played Ensign Samuel Anders in Battlestar Galatica from 2005 to 2009.
He also had a recurring role as Cooper Lee in the second, third and fourth seasons of The CW drama One Tree Hill whose charactor contains two of Sheldon's given names.
